Synopsis: Arrow: 4×01 – ‘Green Arrow’

[ Written on September 17 2015 by admin ]

The CW has released the official synopsis for the upcoming Season Four premiere of Arrow, titled “Green Arrow.”

“Green Arrow” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

MY NAME IS THE GREEN ARROW — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) blissful getaway is cut short when Thea (Willa Holland) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) pay them a visit and tell Oliver they need his help back in Star City. The city has been attacked by “Ghosts,” assassins led by a dangerous man named Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). However, when Oliver returns, Diggle (David Ramsey) makes it very clear that he doesn’t want Oliver on the team. Thor Freudenthal directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Beth Schwartz and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle (#401).

Arrow returns with new episodes on October 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Stephen Amell Says They Do Something In Arrow Season 4 Premiere They’ve Never Done Before

[ Written on September 09 2015 by admin ]

During the Arrow panel at Dragon Con 2015, Stephen Amell revealed that an element has been added to the upcoming premiere that they’ve never done before and it will have a major impact on the way Season 4 unfolds.

“The fundamental part of the season, that nobody is really going to understand until they see the premiere, is that we do something in the premiere that we’ve never done in the history of the show,” Amell explained. “It does something for the remainder of the season that there’s going to be a constant jeopardy in the show, even if times are good. It’s a really interesting technique. I think it promotes a good story. I think it will pique people’s interest.”

Listen to Amell’s comments in the video below.

This season sees Team Arrow facing off against Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough of Captain America: The First Avenger and Agent Carter fame) and H.I.V.E., the organization that killed John Diggle’s brother. Meanwhile, Malcolm Merlyn has been promoted to the rank of Ra’s al Ghul, leading to the decision to resurrect Sara Lance using the Lazarus Pit.

Arrow starts back up again on October 7 and airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Arrow Season 4 Gearing Up For Show’s Best Season Yet

[ Written on August 28 2015 by admin ]

A lot is in store for fans when The CW’s hit show “Arrow” returns to the small screen in October for its fourth season. While no official trailer has been released yet, executive producer Marc Guggenheim is already saying that this season is to be the show’s best so far. As per Inquisitr, the upcoming season will be themed ‘Magic and Mysticism.’

For starters, The CW has just released a photo from Season 4 and it is such a treat to all Olicity fans. The photo shows Felicity, played by Emily Bett Rickards, and Oliver, played by Stephen Amell, smiling at each other, hinting that the pair’s relationship will be the core of the season.

Producer Wendy Mericle says that Season 4 will see Oliver in a different place where he’s happy and he’s in love but just like any romance, it’s never perfect. Mericle admits that it’s going to be fun, but it’s going to be challenging as well for the two.

With the release of the photo, Guggenheim says that they are now eyeing a lighter tone for Season 4 of “Arrow.” Guggenheim admits the show has been very dark since the middle of Season 2 and it went dark all the way in Season 3.

A new face will also drop by Starling City. Matt Ryan is set to reprise his role from “Constantine” to make a guest appearance on the show. NBC canceled “Constantine” after only one season and talks of Ryan’s Hellblazer character making an appearance in Starling City was prevalent after the show was axed.
